Samah is a Project Manager at GPG. She has experience in policy analysis providing fact-based policy making in the MENA region. She has over 2 years of fundraising and grant management, monitoring and evaluation, and research for INGOs in Sudan. She previously worked at GPG as Project Assistant.
Samah has experience delivering multiple projects, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, MEAL, and policy recommendations for UN agencies, INGOs, development organisations and government agencies to inform programming. She is highly interested in policy analysis and research in protracted conflict environments, with a research focus on political transitioning countries and the humanitarian-development nexus within these contexts. Her interests and passions lie in building capacity, resilience, and localisation of responses to create sustainable development.
She holds a Masters of Science degree in Humanitarianism Aid and Conflict and a Bachelors in Economics and Politics from SOAS University of London. She is fluent in both English and Arabic.
