Moataz is a Programmes Manager at GPG/F, providing direct support to our Lebanon project to deliver trainings on Leadership, Communication, Allyship, and Gender Equality to potential women candidates for the municipal elections and their male allies in Lebanon.
Moataz has a multi-disciplinary background in the public and private sectors, non-governmental as well as international and local organisations. He also has experience in education, gender equality, political empowerment, and LGBTQ+ rights.
Prior to joining GPG, he delivered lectures in Accounting and Business Maths at Amjad institution in Lebanon. He was assigned to the Ministry of Tourism in 2012 as a tourism inspector, where he monitored, reported, and ensured ministerial compliance of tourism establishments applying for licensing. He was also a part of many initiatives that aimed at developing the human resource management system in the Lebanese public sector, including a study visit to the Federal Public Service Organisation and Personnel in Brussels – Belgium in 2016.
Moataz holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Lebanese International University. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
