Eman is Operations Coordinator at GPG, where she supports out organisational processes and our projects. She previously joined as Project Coordinator and brought a wealth of conflict studies and human rights advocacy experience to her position.
She holds a Master of Science in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and has an in-depth understanding of violent conflicts and innovative approaches to their management and resolution. Her academic career was characterised by an unwavering commitment to uncovering the root causes, dynamic shifts, and ultimate outcomes of conflicts, as well as exploring novel approaches to conflict resolution within and outside of institutional frameworks. Interests of Eman focus on the complex interplay between gender and regional, national, and global peace and security dynamics in conflict and post-conflict context, including the promotion of participation, protection from gender-based violence, conflict and violence prevention, and the application of a gender and feminist lens to relief and recovery efforts in conflict and post-conflict settings.
Eman’s special focus on marginalised populations, including women, youth, and refugees, exemplifies her unwavering commitment to human rights advocacy. Prior to joining Global Partners Governance, Eman collaborated with NGOs, legal experts, and parliamentarians to address pressing human rights issues affecting refugees at the Refugee Centre in Canada.
