Alaa is Project Manager at GPG. She received her B.S. in Business Administration and Information Systems from Addis Ababa University, School of Commerce, and her M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Unity University. She has over 5 years of diverse work experience in the international trade and development industry, specialising in program management, coordination, and administration roles.
Alaa worked at GIZ-Biodiversity & Forestry Program as a Junior Office Manager for more than 2 years. She also gained experience as a Sales Representative in an advertising company while living in Riyadh and served as a Junior Event Manager for Blueberry Events. Most recently, Alaa worked with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) as a Program Manager, where she was actively involved in evidence-based advocacy and empowering marginalised economic actors, specifically women, youth, and informal businesses.
She speaks Arabic, English, and Amharic.
