Hannah joined Global Partners Governance as Chief Technical Advisor in March 2025, bringing 15 years of experience working in and with parliaments across the UK and internationally.
Her expertise spans oversight, law-making, gender-sensitive parliaments, public engagement, research, and evidence-based policy-making.
Since 2016, Hannah has worked in Fiji, Laos, Ukraine, Malaysia, Bhutan, The Gambia, and Egypt, among others. Hannah has developed an international reputation for her insights and innovations, and her publications cover issues such as practical ideas for strengthening parliaments, public engagement in parliamentary committees, gender-sensitive oversight and law-making, and gender-sensitive parliaments.
Hannah’s held leadership roles in the Welsh Parliament, including four years leading the academic engagement programme, and over a decade as a senior parliamentary researcher, specialising in equality, human rights, social security, and poverty.
She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in human rights law.
