Ed Owen is a senior strategic communications professional with more than 25 years’ experience at the highest levels of government, not-for-profit and commercial sectors in the UK. He served as a special political adviser to Rt Hon Jack Straw MP in the Home Office between 1997 and 2001, and then in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office between 2001 and 2005.
Ed later worked as a communications director for HM Courts & Tribunals Service and for the Ark schools group, and has helped create The Story Network, providing communications support to a range of clients in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. A trained journalist, Ed also worked as the Chief Executive of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust between 2012 and 2016.
