Dr. Ahmed Abu Sin

Ahmed is currently Partner and Lead Researcher, Partners in Development Services (PDS), Sudan. He was Executive Director/Strategic Management Team, Sudan Development Association (SDA) until 2006. He has a PHD from the University of Khartoum – Development Studies on the “Triangle of Network and Influence: The Indigenous NGOs, Civil Society and the State as Strategic Development Actors in Sudan”. He also has an MA (Development Studies) from the Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague, the Netherlands and an M.Sc (Environmental Studies) from the University of Khartoum. Ahmed has under publication a book in both Arabic and English “State and Civil Society Strategic partnership in Development: The case of Sudan”. And is a co-author of “Power and Choice: Vulnerability of Northern Rezeigat, Darfur,” with Helen Young et al. (2009) Tufts University, Feinstein Centre, May-July 2008.
