Nourane is Project and Research Manager at GPG. She is currently managing the implementation of our Iraq Project in collaboration with the Head of Iraq Programmes, through which we provide support to the Iraqi Council of Representatives to improve policy, service delivery, gender equality, and responsiveness to Iraqi citizens. She also manages the project’s Research strand.
Prior to this, she was Project Assistant for GPG’s Iraq project, and later assisted with our Lebanon and Sudan projects. In this capacity, she was in charge of undertaking background research, providing political and legal translation, as well as knowledge management for effective project delivery. She also assisted with the financial management of the projects.
Nourane joined Global Partners Governance in January 2018 as Research Assistant for our Egypt project, where she provided research and logistical support.
In 2016, Nourane was an intern at the Egyptian Ministry of Planning where she worked with the Head of the International Relations Office on the different aspects of Egypt’s 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy.
Nourane holds a BSc in Political Science from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She is a trilingual speaker of Arabic, English, and French.
